THURSDAY PAINTERS

The Thursday Painters (Bribie Island) Working-together-group began in 1988 and had their first Exhibition in 1991. There has been an annual Exhibition since then in the Matthew Flinders Gallery.

Local professional and amateur artists meet and mingle and are ever willing to share their knowledge and experiences. Primarily a painting group, artists also enjoy other pursuits such as pastels, drawing, printmaking and mixed media work.

Artwork is for sale throughout the year in the gallery and in Studio 2 at the Art Centre at the Arts and Crafts Fair held on the 4th Sunday of every month. Some artists regularly accept commissions and welcome enquiries.
