BANKSIA GARDEN CLUB

The Banksia Garden Club meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 10am. At each meeting a guest speaker is introduced to talk on a wide range of gardening related topics, so there is always something new to learn for an interested gardener.

A floral competition is run at each meeting with sections for roses, individual flowers, natives and floral arrangements. We also have a plant stall and members are encouraged to grow plants for the stall and to buy from those displayed.

The club organises coach trips to garden shows, parks and nurseries several times a year. A biennial friendship day, to which members of other gardening clubs are invited, is always a bright and happy occasion. We always welcome new members.
